VR SF completes its fourth sale of a Northern California Transportation Company

VR SF is pleased to announce its fourth completed sale of a Trucking/Logistics company over the last eighteen months. Advanced Cargo Logistics, of South San Francisco, was sold to a purchaser during the 3rd Quarter of 2008. This is an area VR SF has specialized in and has found consistent success on behalf of their clients.

This particular transaction took longer than normal, according to George Arabian, the President of VR SF. The deal was originally structured with bank financing, but as we all know during the last year banks in general have gradually tighten up their lending. While not impossible in today's economy to get bank financing, it is certainly much more difficult.

VR SF was able to structure a win-win transaction where the seller financed the balance of the purchase price after a substantial down payment was made by the buyer.� "VR SF stayed focused on the end result during a longer than expected due diligence period, creatively structuring a transaction with a buyer that was as motivated as he was qualified" said Billy Casino, the owner of Advance Cargo Logistics. "VR SF said they would be able to get the transaction done and they did earlier than was expected and in spite of the challenging economy", continued Billy.
