Our team is profiled below: George R. Arabian, PrincipalGeorge Arabian started his professional career as an owner of a small business that he was able to successfully build and sell. He was active in real estate sales and became a real estate broker early in his career. He is a passionate business builder having transitioned his career into technology in the mid 1980's. He has held senior sales/business development executive roles through out his 20+-year career in technology. The first 16 years focused on driving internal growth, broadening his experience to include external growth (joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions) during the last four years of his technology career. After going through three IPO's and two successful mergers (Orchid Technology, Proxim, NetObjects, Medior), including time with AOL in the mid-90’s, he began to leverage his experience and success as an advisor to CEOs, Boards of small businesses and emerging growth companies. It was here that he was able to successfully complete a significant transaction for one of the company's clients, and this led him to the field of business sales. George holds a Master of Business Administration from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts from University of Colorado. Jonathan Maslow, Managing DirectorJonathan’s current focus is on small to mid-market mergers and acquisitions. He spent 25 years managing various types of business and corporate transactions. As President of Pica Overseas Inc, holding offices in Singapore and San Francisco, Jonathan worked with a range of companies throughout Asia, US, and Europe on joint ventures, acquisitions, cross-border partnerships, and business development. Over the years he has developed an expertise in software, printing and publishing, and financial services in emerging markets. He has held positions as strategic advisor to various tech startup companies based in Israel and held executive positions at mPower LLC, Network-1 Security Solutions, Next Pte Ltd, and Brighterion, Inc. Prior to his work in the business world, Jonathan was a reporter for various newspapers and magazines, and was Editor-in-Chief of California Lawyer magazine. Jonathan has graduated from Colby College, and has a Masters degree from UC Berkeley. Angelo Pera, Managing Director - Mergers & AcquisitionsAngelo has 20+ years of experience in senior level operational management, with CEO, President and board positions at top firms. Angelo has initiated dozens of buy-side and sell-side Acquisitions, Mergers and Divestitures for Private Equity Groups and privately held investment funds. He has significant operational experience as well as investment analysis experience. His focus is in Mergers & Acquisitions for Private Equity backed and Privately held Mid-Market companies in the wine & spirits industry, post-secondary education sector, manufacturing, business services and retail sectors. Angelo has a Master of Business Administration in Management from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of San Diego. |
